EP 59 X SIMPLE VITALITY 

Today is another short, but sweet episode similar to last weeks, just a different topic. 

I wanted to create these episodes (58 & 59) so that you can come back to over, and over again (if you need / desire to) that isn't too much information to take in, but a handful of actionable (mostly free!) steps you can take right now, in this exact moment to increase your mood, energy, self-worth, vitality, and magnetic projection. The information, and technological era is soaring like never before, so it's up to us to take a hold of our energy, nervous systems, body, and minds. 

I don't want to create more episodes right now that are focused on a million new things to do, try, and create. The energy now seems more Foundational to me, so instead of getting you to read another book, or research a new healing modality, I wanted to come back to some of the simplest, but most potent forms of feeling more vital in the moment. Not tomorrow, or next week, but now! 

My hope is that you can take away a golden nugget, a new tool, new perspective, a reframe of a saturated concept, and a reminder that feeling vital, and just a little bit better in this moment, is always with You.

The power that lies within You is infinite, and when you tap into that, what You can do on the external is amplified, multiplied, and essentially endless.

Deeper radiance is within Us all, but it's up to Us to re-discover, ignite, harness, love, and take action with.

I'm thrilled to have Laney Crowell, Founder and CEO of Saie Beauty, on the podcast today. Laney and I connected a few years back when I came across her site, The Moment, and I'm so grateful we were able to stay in touch. Not only did I get hooked on the content she created for her readers, but I got this deeper sense of her ability to create community, connection, and beauty. 

Upon leaving the fashion world, the business of conventional beauty, and her beautiful community at The Moment, she founded the clean make up line called Saie (pronounced "Say"), and it's been taking the clean beauty world to a whole other level since it's launch over six months ago.

While the episodes these past few weeks have focused on the Foundation of nutrition, and wellness. I always tie in the trifecta of looking at everything from the body, mind, soul perspective, as when we look at the whole Self, I believe we ultimately set the stage to heal deeper, gain more clarity, live joyfully, step into our power, harness greater vitality, and look / feel more radiant. 

Everything comes back to Self, inside and then out.

EP 54 X NOURISHING YOURSELF NOW

Nutrition, and food are always a hot topic on our planet, now more than ever, as we navigate our home lives a lot more differently.

What to eat? When? How much? From where? In what proportion to this nutrient? I've had clients say to me on numerous occasions, "I just don't know what to do or eat anymore, it's so confusing, and I'm not feeling any better"... or " Why can't I stop eating this, doing this, repeating this pattern?... 

Today we are looking at some of these patterns, exploring our subconscious mind pertaining to the way we eat, and beginning to incorporate the Holistic Self (body, mind, soul) into the way we choose to nourish ourselves (no right or wrong way), as we go way beyond a physical body. EP 53 X CALMING THE NERVOUS SYSTEM NOW 

We are now 8 weeks into a new sense of "operating" time, and space, and our nervous systems are feeling it. Even though we might be inside more, that doesn't always equate to more peace, less stress, calmer states, less noise, etc...

Most of our nervous systems are actually on higher alert pumping out extra stress hormones, adrenaline (which is addictive), as we're bombarded with news articles, social media, fear, uncertainty, pain, daily chores, home schooling for some, handling our physical / mental / financial / spiritual health in these highly pressurized times! 

While there is never a one-size-fits all approach to anything, today I share over 14 Foundational tools, and practices to help calm the nervous system, allow it to live in the parasympathetic (rest and digest) for a little longer, and to allow yourself to breathe in the gift of peace, and presence if only for a few moments a day.

It's not all or nothing, but it's about re-programming, re-conditioning, and practicing, a more peaceful state of existence. It doesn't just happen, it's something we all have to Work at.

EP 49  X SEEKING BEAUTY RIGHT NOW 

 

Things are wild, uncertain, painful, deeply awakening, opening, and expansive right now. 

While the noise only gets louder from the news, and media, I find solace in beauty.

Not the beauty we've been conditioned or programmed to believe, as it's just about the physical body. But one of power, radiance, projection, and energy. This can be cultivated through many areas (art, design, culture, travel, photography, etc...), modalities, states, experiences, practices (current or ancient), you get the picture. We can absolutely still work on the skin / complexion ( which I love), but everlasting beauty, and radiance stems from our soul, heart, mind, and true essence. 

All of this to say, that this will look different for everyone, and even in times of crisis, like a global pandemic, we can still seek beauty, step outside the body to tap into a deeper radiance, and find joy and happiness in exactly where we are right now!
