A Radical Podcast

Epic Tomorrows (ET) invited A Radical Guide to a conversation and we accepted.

ET facilitates diverse connections between activists across the globe, as well as practical conversations about strategy.

Here is part one of this conversation. The focus; Introduction of Jason Bayless and animal liberation.

A Radical Gathering: Cultivating The World We All Deserve  The practice of trying to stay as safe as possible when interacting with law enforcement agents. This training is rooted in the abolitionist understanding that police, ICE, Border Patrol, and prosecutors are the violent enforcement tools of a colonizer system responsible for maintaining racial capitalism and are fundamental barriers to a liberated, sustainable society.

A Radical Gathering: Cultivating The World We All Deserve  What will it take to create a world where prisons, police, and institutional systems of harm are no longer conflated with safety and justice? This panel will explore the Defund the Police movement, the abolition of police and prisons, and the beautiful systems of community care that abolitionist organizers are building up all over the country as alternatives to the violent and carceral status-quo. We will challenge the belief that policing and caging people make communities safer, and envision and organize around new strategies and systems of restorative and transformative justice practices.

A Radical Gathering: Cultivating The World We All Deserve  From Regulation to Responsibility: Reframing Environmental Stewardship Towards Interconnection.  An exciting dive into the new frontier of American environmentalism. Discussions on advocacy strategies for communities all around the country using courts and the power of the people.

Resistance Campaigns to Corporate Power Harming People, Communities and Democracy  Corporations not only produce goods and services. They govern through their direct and indirect influence to shape laws, regulations and rights affecting every facet of our lives. Panelists will share their experiences of resisting corporate power and discuss ideas and strategies for asserting the rights of people to define their lives, communities and how to ensure a livable world.

A Radical Gathering: Cultivating The World We All Deserve  "You only get what you're organized to take!"

A Radical Gathering: Cultivating The World We All Deserve  This panel will explore the impacts of capitalism on human psychology and behavior and the human response to living under the pressure of late-stage capitalism and the related crises we’re facing in this historical moment.

A Radical Gathering: Cultivating The World We All Deserve  We’re a coalition of organizations and individuals working together to host A Radical Gathering -- a virtual space for cultivating the world we all deserve.  A Radical Gathering happened online the weekend of June 24-26, 202,2 and included a series of teach-ins, workshops, training, presentations, and panels, covering a myriad of revolutionary and visionary topics.

A Radical Gathering: Cultivating The World We All Deserve  Much of the U.S. portion of the Gulf of Mexico is a sacrifice zone for the fossil fuel industry. Drilling rigs, petrochemical plants, refineries and more cover both water and coastal lands from Texas to Alabama, leaving only Florida free of drilling. Join advocates as they share their work around a Just Transition to renewable energy--one that values and restores the people and communities that have long suffered under these extractive corporate interests.

A Radical Gathering: Cultivating The World We All Deserve  Join members of An Economy Of Our Own (AEOO) and Alliance For Just Money (AFJM) for an engaging online forum on radical solutions that get to the root of our problems and that Wage Life, Not War! AEOO and AFJM will discuss their work to learn and advocate for transformation of our economic purpose and our monetary exchanges.
