So I got sick over the weekend, and I finally have been able to record this episode. It's a bit of a catch up, but it's mostly sports. Or at least that's how it felt. There were also some other moments as well, including Princess Elisabeth at military training camp, the contemporary art fair in Madrid and Sweden's new government, that is somehow the same.
It was the semi final of Euro 2020 between England and Denmark, but out of it we got what I think is the first time Royals were together since January of 2020. Day 3 of Wales Week and it's my favorite day so far I think. It was also day 3 and the final day of the State visit to Germany from King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima. And then there were some events in Spain.
Day 2 of Wales Week, Day 2 of the State Visit to Germany. Those were the highlights but there were a lot of other events mixed in there. Plus how many royals will be at the UEFA Euro Cup Semi Final tomorrow?
WE FINALLY HAVE A TIARA REAPPEARANCE! After about 15 months Queen Máxima has given me my dream episode. In today's episode we talk not only about the Dutch State Visit to Germany but also "Wales Week" for the Prince of Wales. Catherines isolation and also King Felipe's connection to the Notorious RBG
There weren't a ton of events this weekend. Was it the final meeting between Queen Elizabeth and Chancellor Merkel of Germany? Why is the Duchess of Cambridge the cutest at Wimbledon? Then King Felipe takes on another full day of events.
In today's Special edition of The Daily Royal, I talk about all of the events surrounding the Princess of Girona Awards. I include a brief history of the foundation, the order of events, details of the ceremony (including why it's not held in Girona) as well as some of my favorite moments from the day yesterday! Enjoy!!
Well we had events in 4 countries over 2 days, hello start of summer. Of course the big event of today's episode was the statue unveiling to mark what would have been the 60th birthday Diana, Princess of Wales. Tomorrow a special Princess of Girona Episode will go up, so I can fangirl properly.
It was a quiet day so we just had a casual episode today to match, we talk about Prince Georges appearance at the Euro Cup game, day 2 of royal week in Scotland, the expansion (?) of working members of the Spanish Royal Family and the ongoing political situation in Sweden
In 4 days of events my biggest question is how many miles is Queen Margrethe logging this weekend she has been everywhere in Denmark. The Norwegians are officially on Summer Holiday, Surprise trips to Germany happened today and Sweden is having a political situation
