This week, we take a short trip over to the cheese capital of the world, Wisconsin! First, Lauren shares the story of Laura Law and Mike Tlusty whose love story ends in tragedy when Mike disappears seemingly without a trace. Little do they know, Mike is much closer than they think… Afterwards, Kenzie talks about the haunting of the Tallman family. The Tallman’s were terrorized by an evil entity for 9 months thought to be caused by a newly purchased bunk bed from a second hand store. Kenzie may or may not have her own ghost in her apartment but that is still TBD..until then, we hope you enjoy this Wisconsin episode!

We hope you’re ready for a second helping of Thanksgiving because this week is our Thanksgiving episode! First, Kenzie talks about the gorey murder of William Nelson at the hands of his new wife, Omaima Nelson. In fact, she was so new that prior to his murder, the two had only been married for 5 weeks and had met only a couple days before deciding to get married. Then, Lauren shares the tragic story of the Thanksgiving Day Disaster. This story was long lost and typically overshadowed by the college football game taking place while it occurred. Once you hear it, there is no chance you will ever forget it. We hope you have a strong stomach because this episode is not for the easily queasy!

This week we are celebrating Kenzie’s birthday! In keeping with the theme, we discuss crimes that occurred on November 24th (Kenzie’s birthday). Lauren goes first with the heartbreaking story of Sabrina Aisenberg. A 5-month-old who disappears from her home in the dead of night and is never seen again. To this day, no one knows for sure what happened to baby Sabrina. Then, Kenzie talks about the most mysterious solved murder case of the 20th century. The media dubbed it the Babes of the Woods Murders to refer to a child murder case in which the bodies of three girls were found in Pennsylvania woodland. Fair warning, nothing is satisfyingly solved in this spooky special..
-
Anyone with information on the disappearance of Sabrina Aisenberg is asked to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.

In this episode, we are headed west to the “other” Virginia, also known as West Virginia, to share two spooky stories that may make you wonder why this state is described as, “almost heaven.” Kenzie talks about a recent unsolved disappearance that was shared with her through social media with the hope of spreading awareness to a local case. Next, Lauren shares the eerie tales from Lake Shawnee Amusement Park where legend says a curse plagues the land the park was built on. Operating for more than 60 years, the park is regarded as haunted due to accidental deaths supposedly caused by the "cursed land". You may not want these country roads to take you home after listening to this episode.

We start off “season 3” with our country’s most northeastern state, Maine! Mount Katahdin, located in Baxter State Park, is one of Maine’s natural wonders. It is Maine’s highest peak and is the northern end to the Appalachian Trail. It draws in many hikers, some of who are ill prepared for the difficult hike to the trail’s end. Lauren shares with us three daunting stories of travelers who didn’t make it to the top, some who were never seen again and one who made it out alive. In the Isle of Shoals, sits a small island known to locals as Smuttynose Island. Hundreds of years ago, settlers from Norway began making their way over to the New World for new opportunities. Kenzie tells us about a tragedy that struck Smuttynose Island and the narrow escape of one lucky soul. Our hearts go out to the people of Maine in the wake of another preventable mass shooting.

We are back with our regularly scheduled programming with Connecticut! This week, Kenzie shares all the strange and bizarre structures throughout Boothe Memorial Park. Built by the Boothe brothers over the course of 40 years, the park contains many architectural feats, including a 44-sided Blacksmith Shop, and possibly spirits from the past! Then, Lauren tells us about Dudleytown, an abandoned settlement located in an area called Dark Entry Forest. Many believe this town is haunted by a curse bestowed upon the descendants of Edmund Dudley. The curse is said to have followed the family to America from across the Atlantic in England. Spooky season may be over, but that won’t stop us from talking about spooky places!

Get ready for a spine-chilling journey into the real stories behind your favorite horror films! In this week's episode, Kenzie unravels the bone-chilling tale that inspired the opening scene of Jeepers Creepers (2001). Marie and Ray Thornton were out on a Sunday drive when they spotted a suspicious van parked next to a school and a man who appeared to be carrying a bloody sheet. Unbeknownst to them, the Thorntons stumbled upon evidence of a shocking crime. Then, Lauren takes us on a heart-wrenching ride through the tragic narrative of Walter Collins, whose haunting murder served as the eerie backdrop for the 2008 thriller, Changeling. Witness the desperate journey of a mother as she fights tooth and nail to uncover the truth and rescue her beloved son. So, grab your popcorn and cling to your security blanket, because this episode is guaranteed to send shivers down your spine!

This week's episode is extra special because Lauren gets to talk about a topic she is very passionate about, and her wonderful mother, Donna, also joins us on this episode! Lauren covers the complex and mysterious story of nine hikers who were brutally slain while trekking through the northern region of the Ural Mountains in former Soviet Russia. The group set up camp along the eastern slope of the Kholat Syakhl, meaning “dead mountain, and were all tragically killed by an avalanche…or so that’s what they want you to think…
