It’s Cocktail Week in the DMV and your girls were reminded of what it was like bartending! We were hired to travel this week and meet some of our local bartenders and we got some true tales! Happy Halloween! This year we are the Pink Ladies because we like to live on the edge on this show sometimes and break some rules! As Pink Ladies, we brought as much sass as possible right out the gate with one of us yelling “throat goat” LOL. We haven’t done a “Love it or Leave It” in so long so we wanted to do a Halloween edition because why not?! You guys know this is Jame’s favorite holiday, we let her go crazy with these questions. Questions like: Bringing New Boos around, couples costumes, etc. that became a soft launch, “I’m keeping him secret” conversation LOL. From then on you can't look at the person in the same way, you just progressively get more and more turned off by them, weirdly & maybe for no reason in particular grossed out by them. In Part 2, we had to continue down the list of icks we saw on Beyonce’s internet and give a few of our own. One of Jame’s icks is dressing like a cartoon and VJ’s is the word “female” … when you hear why you MAY agree with us! Once again, we didn’t discriminate, we found ‘icks’ both men and women have. Homecoming Season is upon us, and we had to take a walk down memory lane! This week we’re chatting about some of our first homecomings in high school, college, and after. Between showing a “little 16-year-old tittay” and the craziest tailgate situations, this was a fun episode. We also had to discuss the ups and downs of homecomings, being a black girl at a PWI and comparing it to our nearby HBCU schools. Luckily, we got to experience both, and you’ll hear alllll about it this episode! You guys it’s been almost 10 years; we can’t believe it!

It’s been a LONG time and we missed y’all! We’ve been in a transition, but we wanted, no needed to chat with each other and y’all and ‘shoot the breeze.’ There’s been so much that has gone on these last several weeks that between the Soul Mega ‘MegaFest’ we attended, new memberships and jobs, ups and downs, dinners, it’s been some time! Growing up in the 90s, we were able to be raised with some of the best R&B songs ever. Now that we are in our 30s we can reeeaaalllllyy listen to and UNDERSTAND these songs. Some of them are TOXIC as hell! The songs we sang with our whole heart like “All I Have” that told us to drop our pride to deal with a ‘bad guy’ and ‘Can We Talk’ that encourages accepting some stalker ish! Dissecting them and analyzing from this point of view to determine whether they were toxic or real love was a fun discussion… maybe argument LOL.
