All this week, we’ve been looking at why all Christians should be creationists. Here’s number nine.
Romans describes a creation that’s groaning because of sin. But Jesus promised he’s coming again and will establish a new heavens and earth. The Bible says this new creation won’t have any death or suffering. It will be free from the curse.
Now if God used millions of years to create, the original creation was full of death and suffering, just as it is now, and God called that “very good.” So why should we expect eternity to be any different?
No, when we take Genesis as literal history, we know the new creation will be very good!
