Folks who don’t actually watch soap operas often make assumptions that simply aren’t true. One of their favorites? “They’re all the same.” But viewers know nothing could be further from the truth. Each soap has a distinctive style... right down to their preferred type of gathering. Last week, we got a great example of this when DAYS OF OUR LIVES and GENERAL HOSPITAL each hosted parties. The former featured folks getting together for pizza and gossip, the latter involved major reveals and gorgous dresses. Which was a hit with you... and which missed the mark? Meanwhile, primetimes THE GOOD WIFE shocked viewers with the death of a major character. Not a he'll-be-back soap death, but an honest to God death... which wound up being spoiled for some viewers who were in the wrong place (Twitter) and the wrong time (as it happened).
