What constitutes a break in a relationship? What are the rules? What does it really mean to be on a "break"? For Ross and Rachel (Friends season 3 episode 15) being on a break meant two very different things. For Colin Strickland and Kaitlin Armstrong, it was a similar situation. While on a break from their 3 year on/off again, somewhat rocky relationship, Colin meets fellow Professional Gravel Bike Racer Moriah Wilson. They hit it off pretty quickly and begin to casually see each other. Which ignites a very jealous rage in Kaitlin, who has words with Moriah.

Eventually, as with most on/off relationships, Colin and Kaitlin end up back on. But, Colin doesn't end things with Moriah, hiding the reconciliation with Kaitlin. Colin sneaks around with Moriah but January 2022 things come to a head when all 3 ppl are at the same event. Moriah is confused and Kaitlin is livid.

Kaitlin obsessively tries to control Colin while he lies to Kaitlin about his continued, though according to him strictly platonic, involvement with Moriah.

These situations never end well and May 11th, 2022 an already extremely volatile situation ends up completely exploding after a "platonic" afternoon outing between Colin and Moriah.
