Welcome back to another Class Chat. In this episode Will catches up with Aine Donegan who recently turned pro. Hailing from Co Clare, Aine is a true Irish Amateur great with victories in the Curtis Cup in 2024, Vagliano Trophy in 2025 and has won senior cup with Lahinch in 2019. She also has a decorated career in both the Irish Amateur scene and the US College Circuit where she represented LSU. She would be well known for making waves in the US Open in 2023 in Pebble beach where she qualified for the event before becoming a sensation at the event with some serious play and becoming a great ambassador for Ireland. She also qualified for the US Open in 2024 in Hamilton and has mixed with some of the worlds greats along the way. This is a super chat with a really lovely person and we wish her every success along the way to maybe winning a major in the not too distant future.

Welcome back to another Class Chat. In this episode Will welcomes back Clodagh Coughlan, Aoife NiThuama and Karen O'Neill from Douglas Golf Club. They recently retained the Ladies Senior Cup All Ireland Title in 2025. This is an amazing thing to do as we all know that winning is so hard. They came through very difficult weather conditions along the way having to win in the rain in Macroom to retain Munster South and then onward to Douglas Golf Club where they beat some strong opposition in Knock, Co Sligo and finally Lahinch in the Final with seriously strong winds. Having the finals in Douglas was a big deal and something not lost on the ladies. Being able to win in front of home support is something that they will never forget. Neither will I. This is a lovely chat with 3 really super people and serious golfers.

Will talks about visiting stunning Portmarnock Golf Club for the Carey Cup, Barry gives a brief re-cap of the PGA and DP World tours and then the main event. Will has put together a quiz that Mastermind would be proud of for Jordan from all 11 Irish events he has played this year while Jordan gives us some insight into how his year has gone. Welcome back to another Class Chat. In this episode Will catches up with John Doyle from Mitchelstown in Cork. A member in Fota Island, John grew up playing for Mitchelstown and then Fota Island. Having won the Irish Boys in 2023 and 2025, John has already at the young age of 18 won the Boys Home Internationals with Ireland and also represented Ireland in the European Championships in Killarney this year as well as representing Ireland in the World Amateur Teams in Singapore. When you add in playing in the Junior Players in TPC Sawgrass, The Irish Open in the K-Club and the Junior Ryder Cup then 2025 has really been a dream year. The world is his oyster and when he finishes his Leaving Cert, John will be heading to college in the US having committed to LSU. I dont think there is anything stopping this guy from being one of the best in the world and we wish him every success along the way. A great chat with a talented gentleman.

Welcome back to another Class Chat. In this episode Will catches up with Aideen Walsh who has finally been crowned Bridgestone Order of Merit for 2025 after coming so close in 2023 and 2024. Before jumping into the current season the guys chat about a couple of highlights for Aideen including her first win in Royal County Down, her first time representing Ireland in the Carey Cup in Carton House before chatting about her Ireland caps and which home international win means the most... Then they talk through the 5 counting competitions this year which ultimately gave Aideen the necessary points to win. Throw in a Silver medal in the European Mid Am and a bronze in the European Team Championships and you have a pretty great year. This is a great chat with a super person who loves what she does on the course but also loves being a teacher off the course. What does the future hold for Aideen? Tune in to find out.

Welcome back to another Class Chat. In this episode Will catches up with 4 gents from Douglas Golf Club who are 2025 All Ireland Men's Senior Cup Champions. This is a historic moment for the club as this is the first time that they have won the men's title. It was made all the more special on the day as the Women's Senior Cup team completed an amazing double by retaining the Senior Cup crown. On the chat are Peter O'Keeffe, Justin Dennehy, Kyle McCarron and Barry O'Connell. Sit back and soak up the stories, the tension and the atmosphere of what is a special chat with 4 special players. Collie also talks about the freak hand injury that nearly ended his career early and the perspective he now has in his life with the Lovely Ciara and his 2 daughters at home. This is a great chat with one of Ireland's good guys and a mainstay on the elite amateur circuit for over a decade.

Welcome back to another Class Chat. In this episode Will catches up with Elm Park Golf Club Women's Senior Foursomes team who are the 2025 All Ireland Champions. Chatting with Will are Clodagh O'Donnell who is the team manager and Siobhan O'Shea and Rachael McDonnell who are both players on the team. Listen is as the ladies bring us along their journey through the Leinster South finals in Hermitage Golf Club and onward to Douglas Golf Club for the finals at the end of August where Siobhan brings us through her exciting final match with her partner Sarah O'Brien. I think this win is particularly special for the club as they are 100 years old this year. Another great listen.
