Apostles were believers who had direct revelations from Jesus Christ, Himself. Either they walked with Him while He lived on this earth, like the twelve disciples, or they had supernatural encounters, like Paul. This means that apostles had firsthand, inspired, accurate teachings from the One true source, Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
