When believers recognize sin in their lives, many will simply ask God for forgiveness but then move forward in their old ways. Well, as Pastor Bill explains today, this isn’t what God wants from you. Instead, after you’ve acknowledged your sin, stop, change and live differently. Unless you earnestly seek to repent, you fall short of what you could be and what God desires you to be. When you turn from sin, you are transformed and renewed and will live more abundantly and beautifully.

God issues a call in believers' lives to step out in faith, go in the direction He’s indicating and trust Him each step. But, often, believers ignore, put off, doubt or reject this calling. Today, Pastor Bill will encourage you to turn to God, recognize you're failing to follow His call, and walk forward in faith. And the beautiful thing is, is that God restores you, renews your walk, and helps you start fresh. He’s so gracious and faithful to you! He’ll help you walk forward in faith and obedience.

There’s a tendency, as you live longer in your life as a believer to grow lazy. You know you’re saved, you get into the routine of a couple of religious items to check off, but as far as being on fire for the Lord, well, that fades. Today, Pastor Bill will encourage you to walk forward in your purpose and calling of the Lord. When you do this, you’re less likely to stray from God and far more likely to be a part of God’s miracles in this world. Never give up serving and loving and honoring God. Stay strong and on fire for Him!

When you sin, though you may experience a brief rush of pleasure from it, ultimately, it should cause you to feel bad. Today, Pastor Bill will explain that in those moments, one of two things can happen – Satan will try to turn that negative reaction into condemnation and shame, driving you farther from God. Or God will cause you to feel convicted and repentant, ultimately drawing you closer to Himself. Don’t allow the enemy to convince you that you’re hopeless and undeserving of God.

Are there any areas of your life you are engaging in things you know you shouldn’t be? There are areas of everyone’s life where you’re tempted to compromise. Today, Pastor Bill will explain how the enemy knows your areas of weakness and will tempt you to stray and compromise on what you know deep down God wouldn’t want. But, in the end, the cost of compromise is always too high. You will lose as you face the consequences of stepping into sin. Seek the Lord’s help in those areas of temptation.

Satan is a liar and most often attacks believers using deceit. He knows where you’re weak and most vulnerable. He can lead you astray by promising you all your heart desires. Yet, the moment you turn to him, he desserts you and fails you. Today, Pastor Bill wants to challenge you to be alert and aware of the enemy’s schemes. Don’t fall for His lies. He leaves destruction in his wake. Instead, believe in God and trust yourself to Him only. He’ll make you strong and give you what will truly bless you.

Sometimes believers divide their lives into compartments, giving God parts of themselves and serving Him in some capacities. They seem obedient and faithful, yet in some areas are anything but. Yet, as Pastor Bill teaches today, God wants all of you. He wants to be in all parts of your life. You can’t serve Him in one area of your life and deny Him in another. He sees all of you and knows your heart. Surrender all parts of yourself to Him today. And trust Him where it’s difficult. He’s faithful and at work in you!

When Jesus is your everything, there’s nothing that could ever substitute or rival the value He has in your heart. Our flesh is so easily lured into greed, lust, and coveting. Many of us find ourselves compromising our faith and values for momentary pleasures or gains. If you were offered even more, how quickly would you compromise? In today’s message, Pastor Bill will challenge us to examine our values. What is it that could tempt you away? Whatever it is, you need to surrender it to God.

If God is for us, who can be against it? You likely have heard that verse from Romans chapter eight, but do you live like it? Many of us live in fear of other people. Even in our country where the worst you would usually experience is a little ridicule, we want to protect our image, so we avoid public displays of our faith. In today’s message, Pastor Bill will remind us that God protects and provides for His Children. Whatever you may lose for following Him, you’ll see benefits that far outweigh those losses.

This world can do its worst to Christians – ridicule, persecute and even kill us – but they can’t curse your soul. Nothing they can do can affect the way that God looks at you. If you’ve accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you have no reason for fear. You’re secured and protected from spiritual destruction. As Pastor Bill will encourage us in today’s message, all through Scripture we find assurance that our God keeps His promises, and He won’t allow His Children to suffer wrath.
