Desperately sore losers are about to dominate our elections. This is the way democracy has died in so many other places: a legitimately elected leader doesn’t like their chances of reelection, so puts a thumb on the scale and ensures their rein continues, and that their party is able to change outcomes in their favor. Democrats can stop it, but only if they can talk Manchin and Sinema into relaxing the filibuster in cases of voting rights.
