He was given the incorrect Moderna booster dose, being given the "full" 0.5 mL dose instead of the "booster" dose of 0.25 mL. This is, thankfully, an error that's not harmful (in fact, it may be to his benefit). But, everyone, from the CDC to the store, pharmacy manager agreed this was a "serious" error that "should not occur."
