A View From the Couch

A year ago, I couldn’t say his name. Now, he’s coming off a spectacular season and looking to have another great year to propel him into free agency.

Last year, Ozuna replaced and surpassed the production the Braves lost when Josh Donaldson went to the Twins. This year, he has a four-year contract to be Freddie Freeman’s personal line-up protection. There’s just one, small, problem...

The cornerstone. The leader. The Face of the Franchise. The MVP.

Will the Braves’ second baseman be the hitter that benefits most from having Chipper Jones in the Braves’ dugout in 2021? I think so. If I’m right, Albies will have an all-star season.

The Braves’ mega stud is coming off a bit of a down year in 2020. Will 2021 be the year where Ronald puts it all together and begins reaching for the title of best player in baseball?

The Dawgs finish out one of the best signing classes in the nation, but a HUGE question looms. Meanwhile, the obvious choice for the Braves seems like it has stumped the front office.

The schedule came out today and it has to be the most manageable schedule Georgia has had under Kirby. While that sounds great, it means that the already high expectations for next season just went up even higher.

It wasn’t exciting but it was historic. Alabama wins their 6th title in 12 years, and cement their place as the greatest dynasty in college football history. We might not like talking about their greatness, but we need to recognize and appreciate it, because it will never happen again.

Jeremy Timmerman joins me as we look ahead to the national championship game between Ohio State and Alabama.

Three big games and three segments reacting to each game. The dawgs win a thriller, while the Tide and Buckeyes punch their tickets to Miami.
