A View From the Couch

The Dawgs take on a strange Kentucky team with the Cocktail Party looming in a week’s time. What team can avoid the upset scare on Halloween?

Georgia may be off but there’s still a lot going on. Braves, Dawgs, and the return of the Big 10, plus this week’s Viewing Guide!

I’m crushed.

Earlier this week, I said this could be the best sports week ever for local teams, and we are still on track for that to happen. The Braves are up 2-1 in the NLCS and the Dawgs get ready to take on the Tide without the Evil One on the side line. Also, don’t miss my boldest prediction ever.

The Falcons have finally moved on from Dan Quinn. Georgia just beat one rival and have the ultimate enemy in their sights this Saturday. The Braves begin the NLCS against the Dodgers tonight, four wins away from the World Series. We have suffered a lot as fans of these teams, we deserve a few minutes to consider that this could be the best week ever.

With Auburn in the rear view mirror, the Dawgs face another test from another rival. Will Tennessee take a step towards returning to the national stage or will the Dawgs move on to their own next step in Tuscaloosa next week?

The Braves battle the Marlins, history, and 25 years of playoff disappointments in the NLDS. What are the keys to the series and who will advance to the League Championship Series?

Gameday is in town, and the enemy from the Plaines comes in with all the hype. The Dawgs and Kirby try to wreck the GusBus yet again.

Overreacting to the first game of the season is rite of passage in college football, so get my takes on Georgia’s uneven performance against Arkansas. Also, the Falcons did it again and the Braves face the Reds in the playoffs.

It’s finally time to kick off the 2020 SEC football season! We go Four Downs and an Extra Point on a hinge to keep an eye on for the Dawgs this weekend. We take a look at this week’s Enemy. I make my picks for the record for each SEC team for the coming season. I rundown this week’s Viewing Guide and I give you the Pick of the Year, of the Week so you can wager all of your money on a single game this weekend.
