The playoff field is set and so are the New Year’s 6. Overall, the committee did well, but we deserve more. Let’s push the envelope. Let’s see if too much of a good thing is a good thing. 2 was fine, 4 is good, but 8 would be great. It’s time to expand the college football playoffs, and I’ll give you the one and only reason you need for supporting expansion.

The coaching carousel spins as the pandemic surges. Conspiracies abound as rivals consider canceling games while conferences have to re-think rules that were dumb to start with. Bad teams struggle to field a team because of social statements and the playoff race is a mess. So, even in 2020, college football delivers.

Why Daniels performance on the field was the second most impressive performance he had on Saturday night. Big issues at some of the biggest programs in the nation, and while the CFP committee is about to release their first rankings, I tell you my rankings, which are totally unimportant.

The Dawgs won a close game between the hedges, and the story of the night is the play of JT Daniels. There was good and there was a lot of bad, but at the end of the night, the Dawgs and the Bulldog Nation have hope.
