Don’t lose your head just yet, we’re back with Episode 30: Part 2. 

Returning to the life and times of Mary Queen of Scots, we discuss the explosive murder for which Mary was a prime suspect, the ploys and plots to restore her to the throne, and her gruesome execution. 

We conclude with a look at some of the adaptations that keep Mary’s memory alive to this day.

We also lament over cancelled Disney trips and chat Hocus Pocus (because when do we not). Ms McCap asks us about our favourite music videos, our choices including possessed children & joyriding hipster priests: not surprising at all, right? 

Stories include what is considered one of the worst mountaineering disasters in British history and its legacy. And is it getting warm in here? It might be, as we discuss that time the Hellfire Club visited Glasgow’s Tron Theatre.

Well good heavens, it’s Episode 27! Nonsense chat this week includes Hannah’s foray into the world of cat-sitting, a trip to an oddly quiet Edinburgh, and a story featuring a classic example of a ‘Chris-ism’. 

Ms Hattie McCap then asks us to think about our favourite ‘cult-classic’ films; our choices featuring a trio of witchy sisters & a Goblin King with an unusual taste in trousers. 

Our stories include the Gothic influences in a 20 year old (gulp!) movie musical & a little lesson on Tuberculosis. And get your notebooks out as the church bell tolls, as Chris gives us an insight into the art of Victorian mourning.
