It's the day after the election and Steve begins by being joined by C.J. Szafir from the Institute for Reforming Government. Steve asks him to describe last night’s results. C.J. says it was good for Trump supported candidates in the Fox Valley but not election deniers like Tim Ramthun. Obviously, the big win was Wisconsinites voting against the referenda that would have given spending power to the state legislature. C.J. it really came down to the money. In the end, the governor and legislature will have to communicate and work together.
Steve next asks C.J. about what he thinks the biggest issues were for voters ahead of the general election. C.J. brings up a survey IRG did recently, and the economy was the big issue that he believes will win the election. Steve and C.J. also discuss runner-up issues like immigration and abortion.
