Today's readings are from Notebook 3, numbers 1209-1213.

Sister Faustina is going to be doing a Novena to the Divine Mercy. Christ has asked her to do this and He is going to tell her what souls He wants brought to Him each day. We won't be able to do each day one day at a time, but we can bring souls to Christ.

Today we will bring all sinners for Day One and for Day Two we will bring priests and religious.

Sister Faustina is at the vacation house and she's not doing well. In fact, she is getting worse. While there, she is visited by St. Joseph. Since 2021 is the year dedicated to St. Joseph, I thought it would be a good idea to talk about St. Joseph. I share my experience of visiting his church in Nazareth and the cave that was likely his workshop. We, also, discuss what we can learn from a saint that we don't know much about.

Sister Faustina has a secret and she's not telling us. That's gonna drive me crazy! She's going to be going to a vacation house and she's very anxious to go, but she doesn't share it with us. Mostly, though, today we will be talking about being intentional and finding solitude.

There's not a major theme today in our selection of readings. It's very much like diary entries. At one point, she'll talk about a sister who asks her some questions and then talks her words and distorts them. She reflects on how we should spend our lives growing in love for God and how we need to cling to Christ during life's storms.

Do you have a grateful country? I've heard that the people of Haiti are some of the most gracious and appreciative people out there and, yet, they have so little. Contrast that with first world countries around the world that seem to have an ingratitude problem. Why is that? Well, that's what we are going to talk about today. Hint: It has to do with comfort.

So, do you wanna hear about the lance that pierced Christ's side? Christ mentions it today in our readings and so I thought today would be a great day to go on a little history lesson with me. While in Turkey, I got to visit one of the claimed spears. It's an interesting story and I did a lot of research on the spear. I wanted to know if the one I was going to see in Turkey was the ONE.

Congratulations on another 10 days down!

There's an old saying that goes, "I'll rest when I'm dead." This phrase got me thinking about why it's so hard to live out the Christian faith in a faithful way. Sister Faustina admits that she is struggling to live out God's Will faithfully. This is an honest admission and we will talk the struggles with living our faith well.

We hear from Satan again. The Saints often have encounters with Satan because he attacks them so much. He hates they are able to pull lukewarm and cold souls out of his grasp. Also, we will have an interesting reflection as I wrap my favorite comedian, Brian Regan, into Sister Faustina's writings.

Today's readings are from Notebook 3, numbers 1160-1166.

We are going to hear from Christ about a particular scene in the Bible that we never really reflect much on. It's kind of a forgotten part in His whole Passion. We are also going to hear Sister Faustina ask Him why He lets crime and sins go without punishment right away. He gives her an answer that can be hard for us, as humans, to understand.

Sister Faustina has a vision of her new Congregation and Christ reveals to her how He wants her to spread mercy. There are three main ways—words of mercy, prayers for mercy, and deeds of mercy. I, also, share how difficult it has been to get this podcast up and running. The visual is pretty ridiculous but full of God's grace. Whew!
