Unfortunately for the Philadelphia Phillies and their fans they did not win and lost a heartbreaking series finale at the hands of the New York Mets. Despite getting 2 home runs and 6 RBIs from Alec Bohm the Phillies pitching staff couldn't hold multiple leads at different times throughout the game. The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Cleveland Browns by a score of 21-20 in their second preseason game. The Eagles and Browns had joint practices most the week concluding in this afternoon's game. The Philadelphia Phillies welcome the Cincinnati Reds to town for four games early this week.

CM Punk went off the reservation on AEW Dynamite this past Wednesday when he challenged “Hangman” Adam Page to a rematch for the AEW World Championship that CM Punk recently defeated the Cowboy for. Many in AEW feel that the way things went down on Wednesday is Punk laying the groundwork for an exit from the still very young company. Others feel that Page went into business for himself prior to their match at Double or Nothing and this was nothing more than Punk sending a receipt.

The Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament rages on as we get ready for Asuka and Alexa Bliss to take on Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai in Semi-Finals action. Speaking of the tournament, Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah prepare to face off against Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.

The Philadelphia Eagles have arrived in Cleveland for joint practices with the Browns, and there are question marks regarding their running back room. Starter Miles Sanders has injured his hamstring and the timetable for his return hasn’t been officially set, although they do expect him to be ready for Week 1. With Sanders being sidelined, do the Eagles need to bring in another RB, not only for depth but to provide a physical presence that Sanders, Gainwell, and Scott don’t? ‭Former Philadelphia Eagle Luther Broughton joins the show to talk about not only his time with the Eagles but also this upcoming NFL season. We will talk about being drafted in 1997 but then getting traded to the Carolina Panthers by the 98 season only to come back for the 99-00 seasons. Broughton would finish his career in 2003 with the Green Bay Packers after a small stint with the Chicago Bears in 02. The Eagles starters had a good showing in the first preseason game vs the Jets. Jalen Hurts looked comfortable as he went 6/6 and a TD to Goedert. He took a big cheap shot while running out of bounds but hopped up and shook it off. Other standouts vs NYJ were Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean and Cam Jurgens. Kyzir White showed everyone why he should be noticed with an early INT. The Eagles are poised to take on the Cleveland Browns this Sunday in more Pre-Season action, will we still see that same comfort from Hurts? Will Davis, Dean and Jurgens continue to show why they belong on this roster?
