WWE Clash At The Castle saw Drew McIntyre go to war with Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. With a bit of help from the younger brother of the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions The Usos, Solo Sikoa, Reigns was able to retain his title. Did WWE miss their chance to take the title off the Tribal Chief? Was it a mistake not to have Drew win in his home country? Is it time for Roman to lose? Where does the Tribal Chief go from here?
Also on Clash at the Castle, Liv Morgan had a hard-fought battle against Shayna Baszler for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky kicked off the show against RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, and Asuka. WWE Hall of Famer Edge tagged with long-time friend Rey Mysterio to take on The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest. Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley would play major factors in that match as well. Seth “Freakin” Rollins and Matt Riddle would finally collide in the ring. Sheamus and Gunther would steal the show in a battle for the Intercontinental Championship. Tonight we break it all down and recap this incredible premier live event from the WWE.
Also on the show, we look at NXT Worlds Collide, an event that sees NXT and NXT UK battle it out in some incredible matchups. However, the match that everyone is talking about is the three unification matches. The NXT Tag Team Champions The Creed Brothers (Brutus Creed and Julius Creed) and the NXT UK Tag Champs Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs put their titles on the line in a Fatal Four Way Tag Team Elimination match against Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) and Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson). Blair Davenport looks to take the titles off of NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose and NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura in a triple threat match. The NXT and NXT UK Championships are on the line when Bron Breakker and Tyler Bate go to war.
