Carson Wentz and the Indianapolis Colts demolished the Houston Texans winning 31-0, and pretty much secured the fact that the Philadelphia Eagles will have a great draft pick next year. The Dallas Cowboys defeated the New Orleans Saints 27-17 and the Los Angeles Rams stomped out the Jacksonville Jaguars 37-7. The Philadelphia Eagles played their second consecutive game at MetLife Stadium yesterday as they routed the New York Jets with a 33-18 victory. The big story from yesterday’s game was the outstanding play of the offense. With Jalen Hurts out this week due to a sprained ankle, Gardner Minshew took command of the team and led them to a 33-18 win over the New York Jets. Minshew threw for 242 yards, (188 in the first half) with an 80 percent completion percentage. Dallas Goedert was also unleashed yesterday as he caught 2 touchdowns and collected 105 receiving yards. The ground attack also continued their hot streak as Miles Sanders ran for 120 yards on 24 carries while Kenny Gainwell added another 54 yards and a touchdown. Don’t rule the playoffs out just yet. Following a devastating loss by the Minnesota Vikings to the Detroit Lions, the Philadelphia Eagles have found themselves back in the hunt for some January NFL action. McLane cites two independent sources familiar with their thinking and writes, “Lurie is said to still believe in Hurts, but Roseman’s assessment is far less confident.” The jury is still out on Jalen Hurt. Iit all boils down to how Lurie & the front office feel about Hurts moving forward & their patience with him. Could the Eagles have a new starting QB week one of the 2022 season?

The New Orleans Saints and Dallas Cowboys kick off Week 13 of the National Football League tonight on Thursday Night Football! All night long we will be analyzing the game but kicking off the first quarter we recap the Philadelphia Eagles’ ugly loss against their division rival New York Giants in Week 12. Should Jalen Hurts have thrown to DeVonta Smith on that final play instead of Jalen Reagor? Should Nick Sirianni have run the ball more at certain parts of the game?

In the second quarter we’ll look at the NFC East. The Dallas Cowboys have been struggling as of late while the rest of the teams in the division are picking up some momentum. How will these teams fair the rest of the regular season? Can one of them grab one of the wild card spots?
