Nepotism at it's finest. Zach's country cousin returns to SETX for a family visit and a little Econ talk. Jadrian Wooten PhD teaches Economics for Penn State and has a specialized way of teaching that we get into in this episode. We had a ton of fun and hope Jadrian will be one of our recurring guests.

Happy Independence Day y'all. Tim Postlewait and Chris Courville join us on a holiday edition of A2Z Movie Night.

Memorial Day weekend 2016 local musician Wes Hardin gathered with family and friends to celebrate their new household on Lake Amanda. Less than a week later their lake became a muddy pit. Torrential rains over the weekend lead to flooding and the dam holding Lake Amanda together failed. Wes came on to talk about this experience and what he did to get his damn lake back.

Arlie Hammonds is one unique individual. At first you'll think, "This is the goofiest, most country SOB I've ever heard," He definitely is, but he's also one of the leading alligator experts in the TX/LA region and co-proprietor of Gator Country, a reptile refuge outside of Beaumont, TX.
In this episode we nerd out over reptiles, but also talk about Arlie's life, what led him to this field, and why he's so passionate about it.
Happy Movie Night everyone! This episode we doubled down with an audience pick and got a little weird with it.

Steve Fitzner is one of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet and it makes sense because he has dedicated his life to improving the lives of those who are the least understood in our society. We talk about his work at The Spindletop Center and the challenges faced by individuals with IDD and Autism.
