Teej Rodman is a good friend, local artist and dj, but he's also just announced his candidacy for City Council in our small town of Beaumont, TX. He's got a lot of ideas and wether they are good or bad is up to you as his constituent (if you live here anyway)
We sat down with our good buddy and head bartender of our favorite bar, Tim Postlewait to talk about a movie that we all know and love; John Carpenter's The Thing. We delve into everything around the movie as it plays in the background, so feel free to watch along with us!

Josh Briggs is another good friend of the show. He's actually our guest from Episode Three, Caitlin Lydic's main squeeze.
Josh joined the Army in 2003 at the height of the War on Terror. He had seen some shit and lost a lot of friends. It's no wonder that he, like many many other soldiers during that time eventually developed PTSD. Poor mental health and an inadequate VA then led to drug-use and temporary homelessness.
These are some of the topics we speak on in this episode. We're quick to characterize this as a "bummer" episode, but it's not so much that as it's very revealing of what our soldiers have to go through. Josh does a good job of keeping it as fun as he can too.

Sexually-explicit material warning!
Caitlin works retail, but not the typical clothing store, well, you probably shouldn't wear the clothes she sells in public.
She works a sex shop.
We talked about what that's like and how it's changed her views.
Sarah Bellian is an Historian and curator at The Museum of The Gulf Coast in Port Arthur, TX. We had an AWESOME time hanging out and talking about vice and corruption in the Southeast Texas area, but we also touched on her Four Rules of History and how to apply them.
