Joyce welcomes returning guest, Kelly Buckland, executive director of the National Council on Independent Living to the show. NCIL is the longest-running national cross-disability, grassroots organization run by and for people with disabilities. NCIL represents thousands of organizations and individuals including: Centers for Independent Living, Statewide Independent Living Councils, individuals with disabilities, and other organizations that advocate for the human and civil rights of people with disabilities throughout the United States. Discussed on the show will be the American Association of People with Disabilities REV UP Campaign, which aims to increase the political participation of the disability community while also engaging candidates and the media on disability issues.
