Welcome to our Senior podcast! We are excited to share with you the stories, experiences, and insights of high school seniors as they embark on the next chapter of their lives. Join us as we chat with students about their plans during the last few months of their senior year, their hopes and dreams for the future in college, and reminisce about the memories they've made so far.

Throughout the podcast, we'll explore a variety of topics, including the highlights and challenges of senior year, the paths students are taking after graduation, and the lessons they've learned along the way. We'll also discuss the role that family, friends, and community have played in shaping their aspirations, and how they plan to use their experiences to make a positive impact in the world.

In this month’s AASuccess Anecdotes podcast hosted by students Aashee Balani, McKenzie Tran, Nathan Le, and Leo Lue, the topic of discussion is love languages. The guests of the podcast, Marvin Pham and Madison Do, join in as each person takes a love language test and discovers their own unique love language. Through their discussion, they explore the different types of love languages, and how they can be expressed in different relationships. In addition to discussing love languages, the students also reflect on their experiences with Valentine’s Day and what the holiday means to them. They share their thoughts on the commercialization of the holiday and how they choose to celebrate it with their loved ones.

In this episode, we discuss “Women Empowerment” with our special guest, Amy Chin! Ms. Chin is a womens’ rights activist who founded the Crescendo Group to support bipoc women and survivors in career building and empowerment workshops. The student hosts: McKenzie Tran, Nathan Le, Aashee Balani, and Leo Lue delve into this thought-provoking topic and the inspiring anecdotes that Ms. Chin has to share!

In this episode, McKenzie Tran hosts a discussion about Roversity with the project leads, Nicole Oturno and Nico Cadernas. Roversity is a program started by Nicole to educate and support the underserved youth about STEM and Robotics through hands-on experiences. Nicole and Nico are currently working with Hispanic students at the Second Story Homeless Shelter. They come in bi-weekly to introduce students to the robotics kits and teach them different aspects of creating robots: programming, electrical, and mechanical. Using robotic kits from education equipment companies, the students are able to try many different creative ideas on their own. Listen in to hear the great amount of effort and care put into the planning and execution of this program!
