The annual YouthCon Scholarship has been an ongoing initiative created by AASuccess in 2010 with the mission of providing financial assistance to college and high school students who share our passions of bettering the world through serving their community. As we are wrapping up the 2019-2020 scholarship, we meet with this year’s YouthCon coordinators – who like many of our applicants are upcoming college students as well.

Host: Board member and AASuccess student, Lani Nguyen

Guest: Youthcon coordinators and AASuccess students, Daniel Nguyen, Ashley Rodriguez, and Jen Hoang

Although AASuccess is known for our social projects based in the US, we want to create change on a global level. In 2018, we created one of our biggest and most successful projects in Vietnam connecting students from rural areas with mentors from America to provide the students with supplementary education in English and life-skills. Join us this week, as we talk about DELTA, our sister organization in Vietnam, and the meaningful impact it has on students in Vietnam.

Host: Nguyen Nguyen, AAS mentor, and a coordinator of the DELTA program

At AASuccess we do everything to prioritize our connection with our students and one core part of that is through LSA. What is that exactly and how do our students feel meeting their mentors every Saturday? Join us this week as we introduce two of our newest students and thoughtfully revisit how their first encounter with AASuccess went.

Host: Khue Bui — AAS chairwoman and mentor

Guests: Dave Nguyen — the founder of AASuccess, and Ashley Rodriguez & Jen Hoang — students of AASuccess since 2019.

Welcome to our very first AASUCCESS podcast episode. We are all amateurs at this but as we all are going through a very unique time in history – a global pandemic event, we hope to create new ways to connect with people. In this channel, you will hear many meaningful conversations between our AASUCCESS members, skilled mentors, students, and supporters, all those who have enriched our lives with their passion and life experience.

Our chairwoman Khue Bui will host the first episode with the topic: New Normal. And our first guests are Mr. Dave Nguyen – founder of AASUCCESS and Mrs. Wendy Yuan – our Marketing and Civic Engagement Director.
