I am choosing to provide a safe and supportive place for myself in this episode to openly share my feelings about the challenges and obstacles that have held me back from being who I am. I find it healing to be able to share my story and experiences without the threat of being silenced, bullied, or manipulated in someway. In this first episode, I am sharing more about my struggles of breaking free from various cycles of violence and the pain I felt after losing my amazing sister to suicide 10 years ago this November 3, 2020. In honor of her, I am working to bring forward a dream and vision that her and I would discuss frequently to keep ourselves focused on a positive path of healing ahead. I believe her suicide was preventable and I am determined to figure out how to save my own life moving forward and inspire others through that process.
