The Federal Health Minister has announced sweeping changes to the National Disability Insurance Scheme as the budget suffers from blow outs.
The changes are aimed at tightening eligibility rules to reduce the number of participants from 760,000 people today to 600,000 people by the end of the decade.
There'll also be a crackdown on registration, expanding the categories of providers who'll need to be fully registered.
