   A jury has been shown CCTV footage of former Sydney police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon buying a surfboard bag days before he allegedly shot Sydney couple Jesse Baird and Luke Davies. Prosecutors allege the accused planned to use it to dispose of Mr Baird's body, who was his ex at the time. He's pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder and one of aggravated break and enter. The federal government says OpenAI is engaging with it following a data breach impacting Medicare. Today, the prime minister revealed an artificial intelligence agent from Open AI hacked into a Medicare data portal in June this year with both public and non-public files accessed by the agent. And Brisbane Lions star Lachie Neal will be able to take part in Saturday's AFL Grand Final after his one match suspension was overturned at the Tribunal. Neale's lawyer had argued that the prospect of missing a Grand Final should have carried greater weight at Tuesday night's Tribunal hearing which upheld the original punishment.    The Coalition has heaped criticism on Labor's newly announced migration changes. Labor plans to reduce migration by barring most international students from bringing their families, reducing the number of 2nd and 3rd year working holiday visas and detaining and deporting visa overstayers. Deputy Opposition Leader Jane Hume says migration has been too high and standards have been too low under Labor, while Liberal MP Zoe McKenzie says the plan will "throttle" the Australian economy. Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke says he he'd like the measures to go further, but needs the coalitions support to pass the senate. + Open AI has revealed six more incidents of unexpected or concerning behaviour by its intelligence models. Some of the previously unreported incidents include models concealing or fabricating information and generating instructions to get around restrictions. In response, the Chat GPT maker says it will launch a new system to track, investigate and disclose cases of its AI models misbehaving. + The Fitzroy River in Rockhampton will host rowing and canoeing events at the 2032 Brisbane Olympics despite the risk of crocodiles. International sporting bodies have endorsed the venue for despite concerns over the current, length and crocodiles. An assessment has found the central Queensland river suitable, with no widening or dredging needed. Queensland Premier David Crisafulli says the doubters have been proven wrong.
