Round 8 of the NRL season has been the round of multiple sin bins and Manly coach Anthony Seibold (34.08) saw 3 players binned in his team's win over Penrith. He told Andrew Moore and John Gibbs that he's got plenty of sympathy with the referees but that he's not sure what the bunker will decide about the outcome of any tackle. He also gave an update on the fitness of Tom Trbojevic and said he's got full confidence in the commitment of Daly Cherry-Evans. Sydney Roosters Blake Steep could barely believe the crowd he walked out in front of at the Football Stadium on Anzac Day - but even more unbelievable is his real life rescue story. The young back rower has had an eventful couple of years breaking in to first grade and suffering an ACL but in January this year he almost lost his Dad while out spearfishing. He recounts the whole dramatic tale which needs to be heard to be believed.

Brisbane kicked off Anzac Round with a thumping win over the previously undefeated Bulldogs. Coach Michael Maguire (18.57) joined Andrew Moore, Luke Lewis and John Gibbs to share his thoughts on the win and allay any fears over the injury status of Adam Reynolds. He also said he's excited at getting Ezra Mam available to play even if he's not sure how best to utilise him! A few weeks ago the Dolphins were winless. They've now strung 3 wins together including the big round 7 victory of Melbourne. Coach Kristian Woolf (1:21:39) had to hold his nerve through 4 straight losses and going behind against the Storm. The Phins coach told Andrew Moore, Luke Lewis, Ruan Sims and Michael Carayannis that keeping a cool head is his job! Meanwhile the Bulldogs might have the only 100% record in the competition but full back Connor Tracey (31:39) reckons their focus isn't on winning (even if they seem to be quite good at it!) And Andrew kicks off a series looking at the 1995 State of Origin series chatting to former North Sydney Bear and teak tough Queenslander Gary Larson (2:09:39).
