While every Christian is to be involved in the ministry, there are some within the church that are called to places of leadership. To Shepherd, and teach the flock, equipping them for the work of ministry. Today on Abounding Grace we’ll give attention to this, as well as have a look at the manifestations of the Spirit. Pastor Ed Taylor is in the midst of a series on the Holy Spirit, and he takes us now to First Corinthians chapter twelve to gain a greater understanding of Spiritual Gifts.

Don’t you love to give your kids gifts? It makes our day as parents, watching them light up at Christmas time or on their birthday. God loves to give His children gifts too. And if you’re a believer you’ve been given at least one if not more! Today on Abounding Grace pastor Ed Taylor will take us to Romans chapter twelve where we’re given seven motivational gifts. Ed will explain how they’re often related to our natural talents or bent in life.

Have you ever poured the wrong kind of fuel into your truck or car? Perhaps you accidentally put diesel fuel into your gas engine. Today on Abounding Grace we’ll learn that many are trying to live the Christian life by their own strength and that’s the wrong fuel so to speak. The much better route to take is to live by the power of the Spirit. Pastor Ed Taylor discusses that now in his message on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit from John 14 and Acts 1.

On today’s program pastor Ed Taylor will draw attention to the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Have you ever wondered what that’s all about? Maybe you’ve seen some weird things over the years attributed to the Spirit and that’s sort of scared you off, not wanting anything to do with this. Or you’re under the impression that the work of the Spirit really isn’t for today? We hope you’ll go into this with an open mind and Bible, and hear what the Scriptures have to say about this.
