So your son or daughter is living in sin! Or your friend is in clear rebellion against God. You might be under the impression that it’s your responsibility to bring conviction their way, but in reality that’s the job of the Holy Spirit! Jesus warned us that just as the world hated Him, His followers would be hated too. And you don’t have to look long and hard to see the truth of that statement lived out right before our very eyes. If I was to ask you, what does love look like, how would you answer that? Now see if it matches what First Corinthians thirteen has to say to us. We’ll learn that love is the choice of obedience, rather than just some sort of emotion that changes from one day to the next. We’ll also be challenged to love as God would have us.
