In classrooms all over the country, students are being taught that there was some sort of big bang, when trying to explain the world around us and how we got here. But the truth of the matter is, God is the one that created the world and everything in it and around it. Including you and me. Let’s spend some time considering the beginning of it all, today on Abounding Grace.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth! As Christians we believe and receive that by faith, but is there also evidence to back that up? Let’s talk about it today on Abounding Grace. Pastor Ed Taylor is in the early stages of a new study in Genesis, where we’re learning how everything came to be. Some claim there was some sort of explosion causing order. But the Bible says something entirely different.

Today and tomorrow on Abounding Grace we’ll be putting the finishing touches on our study of Second Kings. As we do, we’ll explore the final judgement that God brings to Judah. We’ve all done things that we would later regret, and sometimes we feel the consequences of those decisions for many years. Often that’s just what God uses to get our attention right?

God forgives and He restores. Many of us have seen that played out in our lives. But He also calls us to be forgiving people. If we refuse to go there, we’ll be stuck in a prison of misery. Today on Abounding Grace we’ll turn your attention to Second Kings chapter 25, and uncover a beautiful picture of forgiveness in the release of Jehoiachin from prison!
