Samantha and I shared a deep and interesting conversation around beauty, anti-aging (and we are searching for a better term for it), Gua Sha, acupuncture, cupping and breathwork.

I asked Sam to tell me about her work and here's what she said: "An Acupuncturist and Breathwork Healer working in NYC, I see my role as a space holder for transformation. I gathered my mother, my son, and my son's friend, to talk openly and honestly through three generations. We discuss Area 51, UFO sightings, Juuling (who does it and who doesn't -- you'll be surprised), smoking cigarettes, drinking and the stigma attached to it. We also talk about smoking weed, doing drugs (heroin, oxy, meth) and what it means to be labeled by others.

Concetta Bertoldi is the real deal. She has given me information about my loved ones who have passed on that no one could have known, and the details were completely on point.

I sat down with her to talk about her new book, "I Kissed a Ghost (and I Liked It)." Hear amazing stories from the other side, and some very cool stories about her life, her family, and more (including the time she took LSD (a hilarious retelling), and the how she first told her husband that she spoke with dead people).

Concetta is a vivacious medium and New York Times bestselling author whose newly released 4th book “I Kissed a Ghost (and I Liked It)” shows us how to see evidence of ghosts and spirits in the world and how they can help someone understand their soul’s divine purpose.

This Tuesday Dip, I share my incredible struggle to soften into vulnerability and intimacy and my first deep dive into letting go and allowing myself to be exposed. (You will hear my dog, Rocco, barking in the background.)

I mention something that my friend and fellow breathwork healer, Chris, shared with me about intimacy being hard, but I want to clarify, because what he really said was in response to me asking about operating through intimacy without alcohol. He recognized that the transition can be hard, at first, but that it's just part of the growth process.

Chris and I talk about breathwork healing, astrology, and how those two things work so well together. A Southerner by birth and a New Yorker for the last two decades, Chris Phipps is a breathwork healer and astrologer, in addition to working in technology as a product developer and strategist. Emerging from a dark period of addiction in the mid-00s, Chris has spent the last 12 years studying multiple spiritual practices that have brought the version of himself that he currently sees in line with the same one Spirit and others see. A few years ago, breathwork emerged as one of the brightest of those spiritual practices. Chris recalls, "No other modality has made me so comfortable in my skin, so able to see myself and others around me authentically. It started as something I did with friends and soon became something I wanted to bring to other people so that their own self-reflections could match the experience I was having.”

Having been certified via the Healer Training instruction of David Elliott and Erin Telford, Chris now offers breathwork sessions, both solo and with his business partner, Stephen Roehler, to help people really uncover who they are. He also offers astrology readings that guide people through what blocks them and what is ultimately possible. He’s currently studying with astrologer Adam Sommer and will be certified within the next year.
