  • 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 Part 1
We are making our way through First Corinthians, and we’ve reached chapter thirteen. What would you say you’re known for? Maybe it’s your accomplishments at the workplace, your wealth? Some are known as being a gossip, or as an angry, bitter person. But wouldn’t it be nice to be known as loving people? That’s actually what the Christian should be known for, and today we’ll be encouraged in that direction.

  • 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 Part 2
In the world as we know it certain giftings are greatly admired and others not so much. Just think for a minute about how greatly admired those are in the world of professional sports or how about actors and actresses or musicians! Contrast that to the behind the scenes people who few know their name. But from God’s viewpoint each gifting and calling is important and necessary. He will reward one day based on faithfulness not on what the gift is. Today on According to the Scriptures join us in First Corinthians twelve as pastor Damian Kyle focuses on verses 12-27.

As an analogy, he points to the human body which has many parts, but is to effectively function as one unit. Wouldn’t it be great if that was a description of the Church today? Turn to First Corinthians chapter twelve now and join us.

  • The Feeding of the 5,000 Part 1
Chapter six of John will be the focal point of our study. Imagine hosting a get together, and discover that you don’t have enough food to go around. In our day and age the problem could probably be resolved by making a trip to the grocery store or making a call to a local restaurant. This luxury wasn’t available in the days of Christ, making what we’re about to read even more astounding. Five loaves and two fish. Perhaps enough to feed a couple of people, but certainly not five thousand, right? Nothing is impossible for God!
