Sy really meant to upload this pre-Thanksgiving episode back in November...It's now December. Close enough. Happy Wintersday Y'all!

This week's episode comes with a mild trigger warning. No Sy's were hurt in the process of making this episode but there is some real talk about depression and the issue of self-harm.

This week Sy is writing and revising while trying to decide if her new meds are helping or hurting. Anna is getting ready for her big trip and doing her best to keep breathing.

And thanks for your patience with us this week. There were some tech issues that distorted the audio in a couple of places. Sy did her best to clean it all the best she could, but there's no way to edit it out completely.

Sy and Anna survived the week, mostly by doing daily video chats to help hold each other accountable. Sy is frustrated because...well, because legit depression is frustrating. Anna's just thrilled she hit her deadline.

Well, depression's a dick, but we're crawling back. Technology problems have also not helped the regularity of this podcast's publication. Sorry about that. We're finding better software - if only that worked for the depression, too!

Anna and Sy are on break this week so Sy dug deep into her archives and pulled out an audio file that dates back to ancient and dark times...high school.

This was a group project to create a historical radio show, complete with a news report and commercial breaks.

Anna, yet again, could have been more productive but got enough done that it's ok anyway. Sy is still struggling, and has asked for help accomplishing more next week. In a surprising twist, this week's episode has lots and lots of conversational tangents. Totally not their usual conversation style, but what can you do? ;)
