Holy cow! It's a whole year of episodes! They made it! Huzzah! This week, Anna struggled a lot with distractions. Sy was still pulling out of last week's funk and was also struck with insomnia and the red tide - which never helps.* But overall they got stuff done, and are feeling ok.

*Sy talks about ThirdLove bras this episode. As we said before, we don't have sponsors so we're not getting paid to talk about how cool they are. Sy is just having a good experience with her new bra.

Huzzah! They made it to 50! Sy had a good week, including a therapy appointment that went very well. Yay for competent mental health professionals! That plus a better journalling system has led to a much more productive week. Anna had productive days and lazy days but overall accomplished a lot, and even managed to work out twice!

Anna struggled a bit to settle back into a routine after the trip, but she still adulted reasonably well. Sy had some very busy and productive days, and went for a run! You'd think this would be a short chat since it's only been half a week since the last one - but you'd be wrong.

The long-awaited mini chat in which Sy and Anna talk about the ways in which the TV show "Rizzoli and Isles" portrays life's many kinds of relationships better than most other shows.

Missed posting the mini-episode last week because the file was saved in a "safe location." So safe that Sy couldn't remember where it was. But this week, Anna is back from her convention and mostly recovered. There was some drama getting to Chicago, but everything went beautifully from there. Sy finally realized she hasn't been recording her days and needs to. She's fine but needs to work on her addiction to TV and the interwebs as a way to avoid the adulting.

Both Sy and Anna had stressful weeks. Anna had trip-related anxieties and some family news that wasn't great. Sy was still recovering from her past week of insomnia and was struggling with some avoidance issues but acknowledged it during this chat and is hopeful next week will be more productive. They also had the usual tangents - this time about singing, family drama (divorce! debt! resentment! oh my!), and coloring books.

Sy's insomnia struck and she burned out writing, making her so tired she can't even. Anna had a productive week - in spite of a near-disaster with her keyboard and some emotional stress overflow from the husband. But we both survived. It's a miracle!

Anna is better this week, setting daily goals and journalling and taking steps to prepare for her upcoming trip. Sy got an unexpected email of good news her jerk-brain isn't letting her accept. She is working on tackling the new challenge and shutting up the jerk brain. THEN SHE'S CELEBRATING HER BIRTHDAY!! Also, we ramble about lots of tangential things, like we do.
