We got some stuff done!...but could have done more, and we will do better next week. In the meantime, we talked big goals for 2018. Also, some ramblings about movies and stuff.

Anna and Sy are still on break from their normal weekly check-ins, but they recorded a special New Year book-talk to celebrate the new year! 2017 is dead! Long live 2018!

Anna and Sy are taking a break from recording as Wintersday approaches, and have recorded a special pop culture talk as a present! Listen in as these two besties watch "The Holiday" and gush about how good a movie it is.

Sy had a wonderful sleep-filled visit at her friend's house, and overall accomplished many things on her list and is feeling good. Anna got the big stuff off her list but totally dodged the little things for... no particular reason. She feels good in spite of that.

As a reward for sitting through crazy long episodes, we've kept this one short! All is well in our worlds - Sy is visiting a friend and finally sleeping, and Anna finished her job application edits. Huzzah's all around!

Anna and Sy had busy productive weeks and are feeling mentally well. Anna takes them off on a tangent about plesiosaurs for... reasons, and Sy babbles about... well, lots of things. Bonus extra after the outro of Sy losing her ever-loving mind over the new translation of The Odyssey and Anna gushing over a new favorite flavor of tea.

We survived the holiday! Weeee! Anna's doctor essentially called her fat two days before the biggest eating holiday of the year, and Sy was getting more and more anxious about her upcoming visit to see family. So, of course, we rambled our way through ALL the topics before finally focusing on next week's goals.

Sy and Anna had a lot to cover this week, so apologies in advance for the super long episode. We were busy and stressed and at times overwhelmed, but still managed to accomplish goals and check off tasks - but it took an emotional toll. This chat was a very helpful chance to recharge those batteries and soothe each other's emotions as we face the stressful holiday week ahead. Happy Turkey Day (or Stuffing and Potatoes Day for the vegetarians out there) - we are so thankful for our listeners!

Sy and Anna are pretty scattered in this time (like that's never happened before) - they both adulted like bosses and accomplished just about everything on their lists, but were relatively worthless at holding a focused conversation as a result. That plus multiple technical difficulties along the way because Anna jinxed them right off the bat makes for a silly and... interesting chat this week.
