Mike Porath was born in Cleveland, OH and studied English at the College of William and Mary. He followed his passion for broadcast journalism to New York where he worked for ABCNews, eventually focusing on ABCNews.com. He won an award for Online Journalism for his coverage of Kosovo, an assignment for which he was the sole team member on the ground. He moved to NBC where he worked on the Tom Brokaw Show and MSNBC.com. He shifted to the New York Times where he was involved on both the print side and managing the Home Page for NewYorkTimes.com. He spent a few months living in and reporting from Saudi Arabia, after losing some friends during 9/11. Upon his return to the US, he worked for AOL and then moved to Los Angeles to manage 30 digital properties for a start-up called SpinMedia. After grappling with a health issue for his daughter, Mike launched an online platform enabling families to interact with other families facing similar health issues, called The Mighty.

Patrina Mack began her career at Airtouch and eventually launched her own consulting firm. She has helped numerous companies enter the US market with technology products. After witnessing her son grapple with anxiety, Patrina launched YouROK, a platform that helps build emotional resilience while gauging deterioration in mental well-being. She won the Impact Award from the American Psychiatry Association in 2019 for the app she developed. Her startup was also the only US company selected to present at the Future of Health conference in Basel, Switzerland.

Ange Dove was born in Scotland, but was raised in Malta, as her father was with the Royal Air Force. The family re-settled in the UK and Ange began her career in banking. With a desire to explore the Far East, she took a teaching job that allowed her to be based in Singapore. That grew into additional teaching posts and she eventually chose to settle in Singapore, where she has been for 27 years. She has launched consulting businesses to aid companies in their marketing and outreach. She hosts a podcast entitled "Build a Purposeful Profitable Business" and has launched an on-line series of courses offering her marketing expertise.

Danny Levin was born and raised during the early part of his life in Philadelphia. At the young age of 10 he lost his father, whom he adored. Precisely two years later, down to the same day, he lost his mother. Danny headed to college after residing with an aunt and uncle for a while and studied Psychology for two years before heading on a worldwide tour. He spent time in Israel where he nearly became an ordained rabbi and spent a decade in Northern CA living in a monastery as a monk. He left the monastic order, married and started a family. He lost his first wife to cancer when his daughter was merely eight years old. He has since re-married and adores the company of his wife and her two children. Danny published a book entitled "The Mosaic" and hosts a podcast of the same name. He also hosts a podcast entitled "50 Conversations with 50 Strangers".

Joanie Connell was born in NY and her family moved to Cambridge, MA when she was young. Having walked through Harvard Yard most days on her way to school, Joanie chose to study there for her Bachelor's Degree. After graduating in Engineering Sciences, she made her way to Silicon Valley and worked in a number of tech companies. After experiencing group dynamics in corporate settings, she chose to pursue a doctorate at UC Berkeley in Psychology. After working as a 'Senior Human Centered Engineer' at Cisco for a few years, she now holds some academic posts and consults to tech leaders interested in developing more soft skills to transition into successful management roles. She is also a published author, maintains a blog and hosts a podcast show called "Reinventing Nerds".

Beth Roberts started her career in real estate law in New York City, and then made her way to Los Angeles to begin working in entertainment. She joined NBC Universal and stayed with them for over two decades in a number of leadership positions, particularly on the cable side of their businesses. She has most recently been involved in adapting podcasts into scripted cable shows. She left NBC Universal about a year ago and has launched a podcast of her own called Broadsided. She is a wine enthusiast and enjoys mountain climbing, having scaled Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

June Ambrose was born in Anitgua and migrated to the US as a child, growing up in New York City, where she remains a resident. She has fond memories of the entrepreneurial spirit instilled in her by her mother which, coupled with her innate passion for fashion,compelled June to explore roles as costume designer in theatre, feature films and commercials. She parlayed those experiences and fine tuned her artistic vision to launch herself into a career as an international phenomenon and highly sought after fashion consultant for leading musicians such as Jay-Z and Beyoncé. She has worked on over 200 music videos and has toured the world with her clients. She co-hosts a show on Instagram with her daughter, dubbed the "June + Summer Show".

Lenora Luisa Cabili was born and raised in The Philippines, the daughter of a government official. She began her professional career aiding in her family business. Her life was altered when she was studying at university, as she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She derived a lot of strength and developed a sense of purpose from an inward spiritual journey that helped her beat it. She now devotes her energy towards a fashion brand that celebrates indigenous Filipino design, aptly named Filip + Inna, a company inspired by her when she was at her lowest point battling cancer. She travels throughout The Philippines to work with indigenous artisans to create the products she brings to a worldwide clientele.

Christine Lawton's family hails from Jamaica and she was born and raised in New Jersey. After attending the University of Delaware, she sought ways to pursue her passion for broadcasting. She ultimately decided to attend law school at USC and after a brief stint in a law firm, she joined Disney. From there she was at NBC Universal and then moved to Fox, working on innovations in media. She is now working at a law firm again.
