ACOFAE Podcast presents: 10 Things I Hate About You

Sometimes a movie comes around that is so wonderful, so full of joy, so influential, and so quotable that it immediately becomes a modern-day classic. And sometimes those movies stand the test of time and become more than a classic, more than a time capsule of greatness; they become part of us. That is 10 Things I Hate About You. One of the best movies of the 90's, one of the best casts of the 90's, and one of the best messages of the 90's: "Don't let anyone ever make you feel like you don't deserve what you want."

ACOFAE Podcast presents: Rebel Mages: Wandfasted

Editor Sam said that this episode was too long, so we split it into 2 parts

We've met Elloren, her aunt and uncle, her brothers, and her friends already in The Black Witch Chronicles 1-3. Now journey back to the beginning as we meet Tessla, Jules Kristian, Vale and others as we witness the rise of the original Black Witch and see the beginnings of what Gardneria will become and why. Wandfasted is more than a love story. It's the beginning of the resistance, the beginning of the hatred and the beginning of decisions that will be felt by the next generation. Like all of the books in The Black Witch Chronicles this one isn't an easy read but it is a necessary one.

Spoilers: The Black Witch Chronicles, The Priory of the Orange Tree, ACOMAF

Mentions: Throne of Glass (Assassin's Blade), From Blood and Ash, Harry Potter

CW/TW: Sexual Assault, self-harm, suicide, domestic abuse

ACOFAE Podcast presents: A Shadow in the Ember

If you loved For Blood and Ash you will love A Shadow in the Ember. Maybe, possibly because they might be incredibly similar. Daddy Nyktos (canon; it’s written on the page) is back and ready to challenge Casteel for our hearts and other...places. Top notch banter, destiny, and doing anything for love all come together to create a story that is both new and old. Spanning centuries (TCOGB Nyktos) this story asks more questions than it answers. Way more. But, we’re all used to that by now right?

Shout Out:

Spoilers: The From Blood and Ash series, The Bridge Kingdom, Serpent & Dove, ACOMAF, and upcoming JLA book The War of Two Queens

Mentions: The Plated Prisoner series and Shadowhunters (more specificall, The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices)
