In this episode, I chat with Robert Martin, Head of Mobility at Jaja Architects in Copenhagen, DK, about the Mobility Pyramid - Its creation and application as a paradigm shift for thinking about city design and personal choice.
We also explore how he, as an architect, got into mobility work, the relationship between architects, planners, and transportation engineers in building places that promote a culture of activity, as well as some of the projects Jaja is working on. He also reflects on the active mobility differences between where he grew up in a small town in Australia, then in Sydney for school, in Saudi Arabia for a 6-month work assignment, and then finally moving permanently to Copenhagen.
