Night two of 31 Nights of Frights brings us to a somewhat forgotten & unloved adaptation in the Tom Holland directed, Thinner. At its heart Thinner, is a cat and mouse revenge morality tale. For this week's episode, I decided to revisit the David Lynch directed, The Straight Story. Lynch tells the real-life story of Alvin Straight, who drove his lawn mower over 200 miles to see his brother, who recently had a stroke. David Lynch fans weren't sure how this one would fit with the often abstract work from the director. The film we received was a more normal feeling film that tells a great story, that is filled with emotion and beautiful shots of the midwest.

This week's episode takes on the latest James Wan horror epic, Malignant. Malignant is a movie that has everyone talking about it's third act, it also has people completely divided on whether its a good movie or a bad movie, with seemingly very little middle ground. With being a huge fan of the original film and series, I had giant expectations that I wisely kept in check, but overall how did I feel on this Jordan Peele produced entry in a franchise that has been dormant for 22 years?
