For this episode I tackle the latest film from M. Night Shyamalan film, Old. We all know Shyamalan had many highs with many lows in his career, so how does his latest high-concept film play out? Do we get the high points like The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, or Split? Or do we get a film that is closer to his career lows like The Last Airbender, After Earth, or The Happening? In addition to my thoughts on Old, I decided to take a look at his many hits and misses.

So have a listen and find out not just what I thought about Old, but M. Night Shyamalan's films in general!!

For this episode, I talk about the recently released Nicolas Cage film, Pig. A movie about a pig(kid)napping and the journey of a loaner truffle hunter that is on a quest to get his pig back. I know how this synopsis sounds...Its actually a moving character drama that I'm calling my possible best film of the year! Have a listen to find out why this is well worth your time and why it is the best film I have seen so far in 2021!!

For this episode I tackled the Netflix Original Movie Series, Fear Street: Part One- 1994. Based on the best-selling R.L. Stine young adult book series of the same name without exactly taking material from the book series, which is similar to the other recent adaptations of children's and young adult books. Were the filmmakers able to pull off a movie that would make fans happy along with horror fans who have not read the series? Find out on this week's episode!!

For this episode, I discuss my Summer Vacation which included landing in Portland, OR to start, with a trip to numerous spots made famous by Stanley Kubrick's adaptation of the Stephen King classic, The Shining, The Last Blockbuster, and Twin Peaks. Also did you know that you can have adventures in a REAL LIFE RED ROOM? How was this vacation? Have a listen and find out about my adventure that was indeed both wonderful and strange!!

For this episode I checked out the Shudder original film, Caveat. A horror film that tells a story of lost memories that is also not exactly a horror film...To say anymore would ruin the movie AND ruin my episode. Have a listen to find out my thoughts on one of Shudder's latest film offerings!

For this episode I decided to give my thoughts on The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. Notable for being the first main Conjuring film to not have James Wan at the helm. How does the third (and possibly final) entry in the main Conjuring films with a series that spans eight movies (or seven if you ask director Michael Chaves) stack up to the first two entries? Have a listen...you can always say the Devil made you do it...

The Conjuring series made its return in 2016 with, The Conjuring 2. Just when you thought you could not conjure any more, director James Wan returned with a film that feels similar to the first, while being a different experience overall. We also get the introduction here of the characters, The Nun, who has a spin-off & The Crooked Man, who hopefully does not get a spin-off despite WB originally having plans for one. How does this one compare to the first film & most importantly is it actually successful in scaring the audience? Find out on this week's episode!!

For this episode I decided to conjure up my thoughts on the James Wan modern horror classic, The Conjuring. This one is of course the true start of Ed & Lorraine Warren's cinematic conjureverse. How does this now 8 year old film hold up today & does it still have the power to creep out audiences? Is the original house in real life still haunted? Have a listen and find out!!
