Adam Cheek's Sports Week

I had the opportunity to cover GalaxyCon's Nightmare Weekend Richmond 2023 for this podcast in mid-October, and was fortunate enough to interview so many great actors, voice actors and guests from movies, video games and so much more.

This is Part 1 of a collection of interviews from that event. I chatted with:
- Danny Trejo (Machete, Spy Kids, Halloween, From Dusk Till Dawn)
- Samantha Mathis (American Psycho, Pump Up the Volume, Super Mario Bros.)
- Maggie Robertson (Resident Evil's Lady Dimitrescu; Baldur's Gate)
- Henry Thomas (E.T. the Extraterrestrial, The Haunting of Hill House, The Fall of the House of Usher)
- Griffin Dunne (An American Werewolf in London, After Hours, The French Dispatch)

All interviews are mindful of any and all SAG-AFTRA restrictions due to the strike. Part 2 will be dropping on Thursday 10/26!

Video versions of the interviews can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/@adamcheek7379

The NFL season is finally underway ... as are the NASCAR playoffs (fall is truly the best time for sports). Adam is joined by SB Nation's Mark Schofield to discuss some of Week 1's bizarro results, the potential for each division in the 2023-24 season and some of Mark's biggest prevailing storylines.

Michael Massie then joins the podcast as he and Adam break down the chances for each driver in NASCAR's 2023 playoffs, from title favorites like Martin Truex Jr. and William Byron to dark-horse candidates like Chris Buescher. They also share some thoughts on Gran Turismo after seeing it in theaters while sitting in Cheek's car after the movie.
