Dyck notes that dozens of distilleries stopped producing alcohol consuming products and started to help out with the high demand of sanitizer at the start of the pandemic. Paul Danison, rentals.ca, Content Director joins the program to speak about the rising rates of rentals in British Columbia. Danison acknowledges over the course of one year Vancouver saw an rise in over 30% for rentals with Victoria having a similar rise in rates. Danison notes that the pandemic contributed to the housing crisis and fewer retirees are moving to Vancouver Island these days because of the drastic rise in prices.
