A joint meeting of the councils of the Township of Esquimalt, the City of Victoria, and the Victoria Esquimalt Police Board recently heard concerns that if the police department were to be given a 12% financial boost to restore service levels, there would be a risk of removing "pressure" on the province to fund more mental health services.

Later, Adam spoke with Dave Korzinski, Research Director, Angus Reid, about a recent Angus Reid poll that found 58 per cent of Canadian youth aged 12-18 say they’ve witnessed race-based bullying.
