Born and raised in Berlin, Pete has been a core part of the city’s techno scene since its early beginnings. Adam X chats with his longtime friend about all things techno, including Pete’s incredible four-decade journey working at Berlin’s legendary record shop Hardwax. Their conversation dives deep into the record-selling and collecting industry, exploring the shifts and changes that have taken place over the years.

Pete also discusses his work on Basic Channel’s Chain Reaction label, his extensive career as a DJ, and the ever-evolving Berlin techno party scene.

This is a laid-back but very engaging chat between two of techno’s longstanding veterans.
