Adapt and Respond with RJ Young: A College Football Podcast

I spoke with Bleacher Report lead NFL scout Doug Farrar about offensive and defensive schemes for the WOOSAH podcast. He didn't pull any punches when I asked him about what he saw from Mike Stoops' defense in 2017.

"What I see is a lot of people getting pushed around."

This is a live stream replay of Wednesday night's live show where we discussed the Sooners' women's softball team, Mike Stoops' burner Twitter account and just how special OU football players are.

I spoke with Mama Savage about

—Kyler Murray's looming baseball decision

—Oklahoma being named the greatest all-time according to AP polling data

—Broke down the Oklahoma defensive depth chart

This is a parody of Drake's "God's Pan" called "Mike's Plan." Get out of the sun and catch this SHAAADE.

What’s up, kinfolk?! I am not on a step mill. I spoke with 2019 recruits Jamal Morris and EJ Ndoma-Ogar about their recent commitments. Both of them revealed some facts I had no idea about. I’m excited to share those with you. I also got some phone-time with 2020 corner Kelee Ringo, who you’ll want to keep an eye on as his recruitment cranks up.

Oklahoma Sooners signee DaShaun White was headed home from schoo when he answered my phone call. He needed to pack. He needed to prepare to travel north to Norman, Oklahoma.

White’s not traveling to party. He’s not traveling to pick out a place to stay. He’s not going to catch a Sooners softball game. He’s traveling to get mental reps.

“I gotta learn this playbook,” he said.

Also, Brian Bosworth is his favorite linebacker.

There are folks who are talking trash about Trae Young making the decision to join the NBA Draft in June. Those folks miss the point of what Trae Young accomplished as a Sooner. He was gift to the Sooner Nation, and it goes against our morals and principles to negatively recruit him.

Oklahoma Sooners quarterback commit Spencer Rattler is the highest-rated quarterback commit the Sooners have earned since 2005. He is the linchpin in a 2019 OU recruiting class that is ranked among the top 10 in the country.

However, with the spring game fast approaching, I caught up with Rattler for an in-depth interview that ranges from what he thinks about incoming quarterback Tanner Mordecai to which 2019 recruit he’d like to see become a Sooner.

I spoke with Trae Young's father, Rayford Young, about his son's future at Oklahoma and possibly entering the NBA Draft this summer.
