Oklahoma Sooners signee DaShaun White was headed home from schoo when he answered my phone call. He needed to pack. He needed to prepare to travel north to Norman, Oklahoma.

White’s not traveling to party. He’s not traveling to pick out a place to stay. He’s not going to catch a Sooners softball game. He’s traveling to get mental reps.

“I gotta learn this playbook,” he said.

There are folks who are talking trash about Trae Young making the decision to join the NBA Draft in June. Those folks miss the point of what Trae Young accomplished as a Sooner. He was gift to the Sooner Nation, and it goes against our morals and principles to negatively recruit him.

Oklahoma Sooners quarterback commit Spencer Rattler is the highest-rated quarterback commit the Sooners have earned since 2005. He is the linchpin in a 2019 OU recruiting class that is ranked among the top 10 in the country.

However, with the spring game fast approaching, I caught up with Rattler for an in-depth interview that ranges from what he thinks about incoming quarterback Tanner Mordecai to which 2019 recruit he’d like to see become a Sooner.

I spoke with Trae Young's father, Rayford Young, about his son's future at Oklahoma and possibly entering the NBA Draft this summer.
